When you paste a link, the server checks that it is an Instagram post link and forwards the canonical form of it to a third-party data provider, Scrape Creators (scrapecreators.com), which returns the post's public details and public comments. The link you paste is the only thing sent to that provider. Neither your IP address nor any identifier of yours is forwarded with it.

The returned post details and comments are held in the server's memory for a short time so that a repeated request for the same post does not fetch it again, and are then discarded. The draw itself runs in your browser; the winner is never sent back to us.

Profile pictures and post images are served through this site rather than loaded directly from Instagram's servers, because Instagram does not allow them to be embedded from another origin. Your browser therefore requests them from us, and we fetch them from Instagram's content network on your behalf. No cookies or identifying headers are forwarded in either direction.

To keep the tool free, the server limits how many draws one connection can start per minute. It does this by keeping your IP address in memory for the duration of that minute. It is not written to disk, not combined with anything else, and not kept beyond the window.

There are no accounts, so nothing to register. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. It does not ask for, and cannot access, your Instagram credentials.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which may record aggregate, privacy-preserving traffic statistics (page views by country, browser and page) without cookies or per-visitor identifiers. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs that processing.
